Default New Ram Powergrip installed

A month ago, I killed my clutch trying to numerous burn outs, lol!!! It was so bad that when I punched the gas, it would slip to about 5000 rpm and then grab. The stock clutch was super super soft and grabbed when the clutch was all the way out, lmao!!! So today I take my car into a local shop to install the Ram Powergrip, ram billet flywheel, and 01 slave cylinder. After I get my car back in about 3 hours, the ram clutch is so stiff as if it was on viagra!!! I was so happy about the clutch, so then I drive off, the guys says "don't get on it, drive slow." Sorry, I had to punch it, it's been a month. So the damn car is still slipping??? Not as bad, but it still revs up to 3000 rpm and then it grabs and goes. What does this sound like??? Did I damage something other than my stock clutch??? Or does the slave need to be bleed more???

don't know man that sounds weird. I made sure I broke my clutch in for 500 miles. I had the RAM powergrip as well and love it.

All clutches need some type of break in. Some say they dont and most say they do. If you romped on it with the first shift, Id say you toasted your new clutch.

my powergrip died after about 400 miles and when we took it out it had about 300-500 heat fractures in the pressure plate and the ceramic discs on the friction disc were half way worn down. switched to the powergrip hd and its holding like a mother now!!!

My brand new spec that I broke in with 800 miles slipped on the first pass at the track tonight . I tried readjusting the master cyl as on the shifts the clutch was slow about coming back up. It was weird because it would hold out the hole 1 time and then slip into second or hold second and slip 3rd.

That is a brand new spec stg 3 . I will be calling them first thing Monday.

No, I did not step on the pedal hard, I already had the problem when I burnt my clutch, and now, when I installed the Ram, I had to check, so I just tapped on the gas to see if it was going to grab or if it was still an issue of slipping. Trust me, I am not gonna start it up, and just jam off wit a new clutch.

Could it be that the people who installed my Ram are idots??? If the were to take it out and re-install it again would it do any harm??? The clutchs holds up great, but its just the slipping still, and I did not gun itin 1st on the 1st shift. I just tapped the gas harder than usual in 3rd gear to see if the slipping was still there, it is. So is it the stock master cylinder that just needs to be replaced now???
