Default need clean engine bay pics

if you have any good pictures of CLEAN or creative engine bays i can look at that would be awesome...need ideas! how can you make the bay look not so cluttered and what kind of cleaner is ok to use...can you just spray the engine down with a hose or what...help!!

Steve1969LS1, look under the members list-you'll see some nice clean engine bays thats for sure

not fancy but clean. W/d-40 works best for me on the intake.

Where did you get your hoses? I'm sure they were pretty pricey but i'm just curious.

It's an Optima part, it was under $10.00 I think. I will see if I can find you the part #. I just painted it black and stuck it on to cover up the red top.

Braided hoses were all custom made.. and pricy

The optima cover can be bought at www.detroitspeed.com and are around $10.. just call them

Same braided hoses can be bought at Pep Boys for $19-$29 depending on the size, this includes hose ends too. I replaced my radiator to overflow hose, radiator to intake hose(next to throttlebody) and PCV to throttle body hose for less than $60-70. As far as the hoses coming off the AC canister would just need to use Earl's braided line for AC applications($7-8/ft) and some Tubemate hose ends which allow a braided line to tube connection(10AN size, $17 each). I deleted my AC, so didn't need to worry about that. No need to pay somebody a fortune to do something you can yourself for very cheap. If you have money to burn, then more power to you. I have it to burn, but don't like to
