Default Installing front oil plug

How in the world does one install the front metal oil plug that is next to the oil pump feed hole?

Use a 1/4 inch deep socket that fits inside the plug with the largest diameter possible and drive it in with a hammer till the end sits about .060 or so into the oil galley. Piece of cake....no rocket science here.

Do just as Tony instructed. You can also purchase a bushing driver set that works great for jobs like this. I have done it either way.

Thanks Tony and Jason I was thinking something like that, but I want to be sure so that I did not damage it by mistake.
