Crankshaft position sensor problem??

Default Crankshaft position sensor problem??

This problem is really starting to get to me... car intermently sputters and stalls, its throwin a crankshaft postion sensor/out of range code. Sensor has been replaced and relearned but the code and the problem are still there. All the wires seem fine.Any other Ideas???

Check the resistance of the sensor. Then check the resitance of the sensor plugged in thru the PCM harness. Is it the same or close to the same? Have an oscilliscope? Another good tool to test them with. Could also be a PCM, they do go once in a great while.

yes I have access to a scope, Ill give that a try. Also what is a good way to know for sure if the PCM is bad?
