Default Formula Front fascia/clip on a T/A???

Has anyone done this? I really like the way the Formula Front clip looks! My T/A front clip is getting a little old and has scratches and chips on it. I was thinking of getting a Formula front fascia and and throwing that on there. What do you think? Anyone have any pics of a car like this?

I remember seeing something like that in an issue of HPP sometime back. (or was it Pontiac Enthusiast....?)

The guy had a Formula that he replaced that hatch on with a T/A hatch. He made some other T/A additions that I can't remember right now and changed the side badging to something custom - "Trans Forumula".

Neat but odd.

A guy in houston did it (pewter car). I think it looks kinda dumb since the lines of the formula front are higher (on the side) than the TA (since the TA has ground effects). TA hatches look good on formulas.

Well at least you get to play with more rice cuz they think your a 6 and most of them have no idea that what a formula is , so its a matter of preference.

I guess, if you're really into the sleeper thing.

But you might be on to something because I never get challenged. lol (not that I would take them up on it, I just think it's funny because my buddies with Sylvias and WRXs (STi at that) get messed with all the time)

You could always tell the ricers that you got a convertible T/A and turned it into a hard top for performance.

I think it could be pulled off and look very nice if you put the Wings West lower front valance on there also to kind of balance it out with the T/A's side skirts. Even the factory ground effects would probably work. I still prefer the T/A nose though.

If you weren't in Florida, I'd consider trading my TA hatch for yours. (It's silver too)
