Default Can you replace cig lighter w/power outlet

I have no use for the cig lighter, and would like to put in the same type of outlet as the accessory (by the cupholder). The cig lighter blows a fuse if you put the element in, but not if you use it for a power source. So, I'd like to just get rid of the lighter, and get the acessory outlet (with the little plastic cover).
Is this possible?
What is the PN for the accessory outlet... stealerships can't find it...
Thanks!

You could just get a plastic cap from an autoparts store and put it in-place of the lighter element. No need to replace the socket.
