Talking Ordered my new stereo stuff!!

Well I went ahead and ordered my new audio equipment yesterday. Its all Kenwood Excelon (mostly their 2005 25th Anniversary stuff). Here are the links that I found on kenwoods australian site (since kenwoods usa site is under construction) to the parts I ordered locally. All thats left is a sub thump box that I plan on ordering this week. I got the shop here locally to match some ebay prices I found on this stuff. Need your opinions on wether or not to put their excelon 4x6 in the rear hatch spots (where the 4" factory components are) for rear fill. Spent right at $2000.00 (right now).

Hmm... i just went through a thread where a guy bought a kenwood HU and hated it due to faulty things about it. The dvd motor was noisy, remote sucked, and the display was always funky. just my 2 cents. Let me know when you install. Should sound pretty good!

Always have been a fan of their head units and speakers (excelon that is) figured I would give their amps a whirl this go round since the specs on their anniversary amps were very good. Their excelon cd/mp3 decks are always one step ahead of everyone elses since they pioneered the car mp3 head units and the features are always great to have right at your fingertips. I have always had Kenwood head units in my rides since I was 17 and never had a problem whatsoever out of them. I thought about getting their anni indash dvd unit but went against it since I would never take full advantage of it.

I wouldn't bother with the rear 4x6 speakers.

I have had a couple Kenwood HU and have always liked them. No experience on the other stuff. I had 1 Kenwood amp that was not an Excelon and it was not a good experience.

Good luck,
Brian
