Might wait for the used 2002 set to start popping up.
But I'd say, get the right year, there are some engine
controls differences at minimum. Probably better than
95% commonality but that way you won't have to
guess, which 5% isn't.
I bought the full set new, plus a couple of other service
volumes (trans, engine "Unit Repair" books). Definitely a
worthwhile investment even at full retail.

wow you found a 2002 set on ebay? I've had it in my favorite/email searches for a while so it notifies me every camaro manual and I've not seen newer thjan 99's

Scored an 2002 set (all 3 manuals) for $80 from a private seller. Best money I spent in a while. Just wish that the manuals stated the bolt size instead of showing just what type of bolt, nut, or whatever
