Default Torque Converter & Nitrous

What are the disadvantages to a big stall say 4000 & nitrous? Is the rev limiter the issue?

No, not the rev limiter, spraying through the converter is.

What would happen if you do spray through a large converter with nitrous then? Say a 3600-4000 size and about 100-150 shot.

I would also like to know the answer to this, but i bet you could do it a couple of times but its going to start making the converter looser ever time you do it.

Is there any way to tell if a TC has an Anti-ballooning plate in it? (Other than asking the manufacturer.)

this is a complicated question but you have to ask your convertor builder. some nitrous convertors will stall at the rated number behind a certain amount of tq. n/a convertors will be ultra loose with a nitrous hit.

my yank ST4000 is a n/a convertor. behind a 150 shot it flashes to about 5100! not good at ALL. some other yank convertors are more ready to take the nitrous. the SS line is an example of this.
