Default How close would P to V be with this cam?

Stock Heads milled .0010 using stock valves and using a comp XER grind 238/240 605/609 112.

Would this have any problems?

Even with the thick GM gasket, I'm afraid you might have some tight P to V clearance. That cam would be very, very close with an unmilled stock head. Your .010" loss of real estate makes a difference.

I wouldn't do it, I don't think it will fit. I've got a 228/230 XER with 5.3L heads unmilled and I only had .042 clearance before notching. Call Brian at Comp and ask his advice.

The 5.3's stock have much less room then other heads.
PtoV is a issue sooner. Either way I would also suggest you grab a set of 100% stockers if you want to be sure the cam will work.
I bet it will be close but I would go 70/30 that it wont fit.

Even if the cam did fit, a little valve float or a little over rev and the engine is nuked.

I think that would be a better choice and should fit just fine.
