Default I tore up a new Lotus. I thought they were faster?

I pulled behind him at a red light and thought it was some kit car or a Ferrari or something exotic. He does not get on it but sees me ridding his trail pretty closely. I get thru 4 grears befor he gets on it. I am lazy so I get on it stil in 4th and stay pretty close to his butt. He pulled a lil, but I am sure he wound out his gear as I actually hears his high pitch over my exhaust.

*Funny part

We hit a red light. I look over and give the nod with a smirk. To my right pulls up a lil Civic and see's us lined up and me gettin on the revs (the cross light went yellow) and he yells, "OH HELL YEAH!" I say "watch this buddy."

Light goes and it gets ugly, I thought they were animals off the line and I would have to reel him in. Not the case this time out. I out launch him and proceed to put a few cars on him.

Looked to be about a 35 year old guy who was hopping to get me to follow him thru the twisties, but I had to get back to work

If he for some crazy reason he reads this. Nice car, but I got ya

The last time I went to the track for test and tune to watch my bro make a few passes, there was an elise there. It ran 9.1 (1/8th mile track). I was surprised I always thought there were quicker, I never knew anything about them.

dude they just got a little toyota engine in there, they just "look" fast and corner well.

Personally Id take an Evo and save 10k and the Evo will crush the elise

Those cars only look exotic. You'd do better building up Miata, S2000 or even a Fiero. It's all just fiberglass and a cute badge. They're IMPOSSIBLY SMALL and striped down inside. For $50k, I'd put my money somewhere else.

Nice kill...

they're 43k..big difference between 50k and 43k....and driving ona track is all about weight. less weight...better handling. there is a company that produced a turbo kit for it. they are fast ina straight line if the car is launched and the driver knows how to drive...they do not have very good power delivery. the older ones had the integra type R engine in it.

they sport elise is good at is auto x, really good. There is one here keeps owning everyone everytime, and it's stock. He's only a bit ahead of my SBC 7, i bet on a real track and drag strip it'd be a different story . They're parking lot racing cars. They're like Rwd mini coopers..that weigh less
