Spring time Again (not the season)
Well I am getting near that time that i need to change my springs, I was wondering if I should stick with my Patriot Golds or go with some crane 832's? I have a G5X3 114 cam and I have noticed that people that went with the 921's have had higher RWHP then what I am getting and what some other people have gotten with my same set-up with the Gold's, maybe its my car, maybe not? thats why I was thinking of switching springs company to see if there is any difference....what do you guys and gals think?????

i just got my g5x4 111 and i'm in the same boat. i've been reading and searching posts and so have you, but i still can't pick a spring. i saw numerous post from louis @ lg motorsports that said the 921's survived 9500 rpm dyno pulls and high rpm power 6500+. my cars a daliy so thats what i'm looking for even if i have to change springs every 6-9 months.

Yea my G5X3 is suppose to pull alot higher into the rpms and make power past 6500rpms (i think) but mine seems to start to fall off at around 6200-6300rpms

But I have seen many people with stock Lifters make power past 6200 rpms, mine starts to fall off, my ground in the cam I have no clue? Simple Quick did the install (great guy) so I know that the cam is not off or anything cause if it was I'd be sputtering and popping. and from what i understand you install the springs at the normal height with the patriot golds (no shimming required)
