Thinking Of Our Louisiana Neighbors...
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all in Louisiana and your neighbors as well. For those who have not heard - Hurricane Katrina has reached winds of 175MPH!!! I know we have a lot of fellow F-body owners out there as well as some good shops/vendors/suppliers and I just wanted to let them know we are thinking of them and wish them all the best as they are faced with this huge hurricane. Good luck guys and I hope it isn't as bad as they are predicting...

My prayers go out to the folks who are in New Orleans as well. It sounds like the worst possible hurricane is heading toward the worst possible area for a hurricane to hit! Fox News yesterday said the following:
- A category 4 is 10 x stronger than a cat. 3. It is now a category 5.
- Hurricane Ivan brushed by LA and still caused 7 billion dollars in damage.
In anticipating what is going to happen, please keep in mind that the stuff you folks lose is just 'stuff'. You will still have friends and family. Life will go on. I say this safely in Texas, but I hope it is of some encouragement to you guys!

Just saw an update on the weather channel. Look's like Katrina is going to take the worst path for NOLA. If you still have the chance, get your bicylcle's (to beat the traffic) and get the hell out of town.

For a matter of perspective:
The eyewall of Katrina is ~35 miles in diameter
The diameter of Beltway 8 across I10 is 25.4 miles.
Thats a big effing storm
