Nah...it's just one of them slow STS rear-mount turbos. Everyone who is anyone on the internet knows they don't work

That is an impressive car, all the way around. Would love to get a chance to drive something like that.

Outstanding...think back a little over a year ago all the ppl shouting rear mounts cant work, and unfortunately no one with one was posting up any track times, just good old dyno #'s. Good runs.

Rear mounts work , bottom line . They're a great cost-effective alternative to more expensive twin-turbo set ups , especially for C5's .

Nice!!

Cant argue with results. Cartek has been doing some great things with these types of setups.

I always wanted a turbo car , and with this set up I can run nines year round , there's much more potential with a turbo , and drivability is better on the street , it gets better mileage than my old NA set up when I'm not in boost .

Thanks Mike , This turbo set up is the third combination Cartek has built me that has run nines , the first was stroker/nitrous , the second was all-motor/NA , and now the turbo , and the turbo is by far the most fun and has the most potential , I can't wait till the boost controller goes in , so I can run some race gas and turn up the boost .

I can do 15 psi with my T76 on 91 octane and pure meth FYI, Stock motor. I usually limit myself to 12 psi for 50/50 water meth and 91, i'm running the SMC progressive kit with the 10 nozzle.

625 rwhp on 14 psi.

Your car runs great! Do you have any pictures of the piping and turbo? Whats the race weight of your car? I'm looking to eventually do the rearmount turbo on my LS1 Monza so 9's aren't out of the question.
Thanks,
Bill

awsome time the rear mounts seem to be getting faster and faster so much for being a crappy design!
