I had a Lab/shepard mix that had 11 puppies. Talk about being driven crazy, not only mother, but also owner. So, many little fuzzy ***** running around and trying to keep track of. One night I thought I had all of them in the house for the night. After going to bed and falling a sleep, my wife wakes me to a whinning puppy. So, I get dressed and go outside looking and find a little fur ball stuck in a large open plant vase, oh god. I must have counted wrong. Pups are fun for awhile, but to many are not fun for long.

John is trying to find a particular Lab puppy he rescued to bring home. Ok by me since not many are going to find good homes for quite sometime.

Sorry but we will have to pass on your growing by the hour litter

I'll bet they are super cute though PICTURES!!!!!!!!!

God I wish I was allowed to have pets at my new house.. I'm probably too young to give a puppy enough attention though during school.. Those are very cute. How is the temper and that sort of thing being part wolf?

It very much depends on the handler. The bitch was very skittish and shy - read very wolfish - due to the breeder not properly socializing her; however, with alot of work on our part, and after her getting pregnant, she has become very social and loving. The only problem we have had recently is her trying to challenge our much-bigger-than-her 5 year old (dominant!) male lol That did not go well, but he was gentle with her at least, assuming it was because she was pregnant.

The biggest issues with either a wolf-hybrid or northern breed is excess energy and constant chewing for 2-3 years, and they are super escape artists. If they are on the wolfish side, they can be difficult to house-break, and you have to handle them a bit differently from most dogs. Oh, and the fact that they continue to grow and get bigger for about 5 years. Our male - who will be 5 next month - just recently got bigger in the chest ... now he looks like a barrel on legs lol

Ummm, yeah. Unless you want your pretty yard torn up (did you see our backyard when you were here??) and super-high fencing or 4-walled pen out there, you dont want one of these As you have heard, they can be total terrors on not staying where you tell them too
