Western Members - LSx meet, all you Albuq. nm and surrounding people!!

So i thought that i would organize an LS/LTx meet for all us NM people, particulary Albuquerque. Everyone is welcome though! I work saturday's, I m up for suggestions as to where to have it, time, etc., etc.

Looks like they'll be a few of us going to the track tonight. (Me, '99pewtert/aff, a couple other guys that I'm not sure if they're on the board) It's the last night of the night races at the strip, so come by and whup on some stangs, ricers, each other, or whatever. Should be fun :cool:


Btw, this is seperate from the meet on Sunday, just enough f-bodies just happen to already be going to the track this friday I'd thought I'd see if anyone else would wanna go.

I hope I didn't confuse anyone with my last post, is that what you're talking about? The drag strip thing is seperate from the meet this sunday, there were already a couple of us going anyway, so I'd thought I'd post it up here.

Yeah, that was me. It would've looked the exact same as my sig, since that pic was taken a different night after I went to the track, still has the numbers on it too, Hehe

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with my time, I think it has a little more in it as it sits especially in the launch, but it's hard to say, since there's not many similiarly modded cars around that I know of to compare it to. Most of the guys I see are either stock, or cammed. Not much inbetween. Not to mention how the elevation hurts cars so bad. Something like 18-20% hp loss on an n/a car. :(


I do remember seeing a black Typhoon out there, don't see many of them out here, it looked pretty well taken care of. I didn't ever get to watch it run though, it was so packed there last night, I only got a few runs in mostly at the end of the night. How were your times? Any mods? I've always liked the Sy/Ty's, AWD TT V6. And they're pretty good sleepers. :cool:

Anyway, see you at the meet tomorrow, hopefully this weather clears up. Sounds like a nice car you got there. Some nice mods. :)

It's bone stock. My best was a 14.6 at 90.78. I was pretty happy considering it was my first time, and no mods. My 60 wasn't to good, for AWD(2.0)... I think it has a high 13 in it once I learn how to launch it. :drive:

Not too bad, especially for stock, it's an auto right? Can you get a good converter for it? I bet that'd wake it up and get you into the 13's easy. :)
