Default first time drag-racing, could not get any better than a 2.0 in 60 foot

Here is the situation. First time ever dragging a car on the track. I have an 02 trans am ws6. Has lots of bolt on mods(lid, fast intake, mti throttle body, gran maf sensor, hooker comp long tube headers with no cats, true x pipe with bullet mufflers, ford 8.8 rr with 3.73 gear with chevy tubes, moser axles). Not real sure of internals. Bought the car this way. Can not find owner, was totalled and i bought from an ins comp. I fixed car and only installed line lock and drag radials (BFG'S). First run was crappy, had the first time nervous wreck feeling.14.454 spun thru 1st and 2nd. Got to get the car in the high 12's. Feels like something is wrong. no matter how i lauched the car(m6), i could not get any better than a 2.0 in 60 foot. felt like car would not pull until it got in third gear. Clutch? Tires? Also in the burn out when cold only on tire would spin. have an auburn unit in rr. Help!

Since you bought it used and modified, step 1 is taking it to a dyno to check the A/F and to see if the motor is ok.

I missed the one wheel peel comment. Sounds like you have some work on your hands.
