5177 & k&n cai
Where would you spray? the instructions are for the stock airbox which my dumb **** removed and threw away a long time ago? I've heard not to spray directly at the maf as it may not read quickly enough....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

its being installed today by a local shop but im worried they don't know what they're doing....when i was in there earlier, i had to stress to them the importance of spraying before the maf....i have a feeling they're just gonna spray it directly through the cone but i've been told this will not only freeze up the screen but also will spray too quickly through the maf causing it not to read the N20.

Robert here's the problem
The KN CAI for the goat is open on top and the front..If u were to shoot nitrous in fron tof the filter it would spary all over but into the intake tract..So a few guys have put the nozzle in the fron of the KN filter point towards the MAF...We'll that presents a proble because its shooting the nitrous right at the MAF which MAY freeze it...If u wer to point the nozzle on a 90,again the spray pattern would go out of the filter and into the engine bay...The 5177 was designed for a close box so us GTO guys that have a CAI are screwed...
Unless someone comes up with a solution..

what about spraying at a 90 degree at the neck of the filter before the maf? or would it be to close to the maf? now i wish i had gone wet....or never replaced the stock airbox.
