Default Moving to Colorado, near Denver

I went and checked out Denver but I didn't see too many race cars. Is there any F-Body representation out there? I'm pretty active in Houston and am not ready to just not have any car buddies!

On a good wed night at bandimere (test n tune), you might see a dozen fbods and more vettes and goats. I live down sw and go to the hamburger stand on wed night, last week there was a gmmg camaro there.

Just remember the performance loss for N/A and some for F/I. I was seeing a SAE 1.22 to 1.25 correction factor on the dyno and runs at Bandimere (5,800 feet) are in the 6,000-8,000 DA range. You'll feel like a supercharger has been added to your car when you get use to it here and take it down to near sea level conditons.

I lived out on the Oregon coast the last few months (long story!) and it was quite the difference. Soon as I hit the Blue Mountains in Oregon, I started feeling the loss in power.

Well I'm looking for work right now in Denver and the tech center, but we're looking at living in Parker, Broomfield or Aurora. I'm pretty much letting the job dictate where we're going to live but my wife likes those areas. I'm aware of the thin air because last week when we were there I felt like I couldn't breathe at all, I can only imagine how my car's going to feel! I'm going to have to use the N20 now! Are there any places to get nitrous filled there?

I really appreciate you guys replying. We're a little nervous moving away from all of our friends and I was hoping having a common interest in cars would help make some new ones!

Take your time, look around, there's lots of nice towns to live in here, and it's easy to get around here. Personnally, I like the south west side of town. What biz are you in ?

I work in IT and live on the west end of Parker. Let me know the exact type of job you are looking for and your qualifications/experience.

I live in the DTC area. I've always like the area but with the new job up in Thornton I'm going to have to move. Right now you really want to avoid any I25 commute if possible.

Either way, welcome

Man I'm really excited to get up there! The deal on my house fell through but it's still on the market and getting traffic so I'm still coming, just not sure when. I'm in IT as well and have experience in everything from help-desk and telephony to data-center management and control. I'm teaching myself Linux right now but it's my first time with any kind of coding. The "Thundering Through the Rockies" cruise sounds like fun, I went up to Estes Park while I was there and it looked like a good place to have the t-tops off!

I am in the Broomfield area. About 3 blocks into Westminster from Broomfield. There are a couple meets and such...but it is starting to get to that time of the year where the track is closed, and cars are garaged.

Hope to meet you someday though!!!

What's your current job title and how many years have you had it? Sounds like you've been doing helpdesk/operations work? I'll PM you a link to the job openings we have right now.
