Default comp cam stealth 2 *need advice*

I'm a realtive newb to modding, and I was just wondering if this is a good cam. All I have right now is a borla cat back and a slp lid with k&n. I was tihnking about getting it and maybe waiting until i get headers to put then on at the same tim. so i have a couple of questions.
1) Do the stock heads support this cam or would I have to get it milled or modified in any way?
2) Do I need to get headers on my car before I put a cam?
3) What are the average gains on this cam?
4) Would I have to get different pushrods and springs for this setup?
5) For guys that are using this cam, do you like it and is it good in a DD?

I think that's all the questions I have about this, thanks in advance.

1. Yes, your stock heads will support the cam

2. No, you don't NEED headers first, but it's probably a better place to start.

3. Depends entirely on supporting mods. Stock engine, someplace between 15-25 hp

4. You will NEED new springs, and you SHOULD get new pushrods.

5. I don't have the cam, but it was designed with DD's in mind. Should be good to go there.

Check our Predetor's setup. He is making an obseen amount of power with this cam and supporting mods. Good luck on your build up.

Thanks CaptUSA,
I wouldn't call it obsene, but very decent.

I was able to get 404rwhp/383rwtrq from cam only + bolt ons.
Mind you this was with non ported 241 heads, but with cometic gaskets and LS6/918 light valvetrain. Portmatched intake/exhaust.
This cam tend to like compression. Cam only I was ~10.5 SCR
Also my tune was for 93+ Octane.

In short:
FIPK
stock MAF
Ported TB
224/220, .581/.581 116 lsa +0
Racetronix 255 + harness + FPR at rail (62 psi)
SVO 30 lbs injectors
Mac mids, portmatched, primary and flange mod.
Cutout
Hooker CB
Stock rear, 3.73 and TA Girdle
Vig 3200
FLP stage 4 (vacuum modulated)

The trick is tuning and attention to details (something I learned from Tony Mamo):
proper geometry
Proper preload
proper degreing
portmatching
tighter quench
lightest effective valvetrain

All are proven methods that do yield more HPs.

Right now I've added PRC stage 2.5 (2.04 int, 1.85 ext) 5.3L heads, compression is above 11:1
and I've made 429 rwhp with now added cats, no cutouts and a Magnaflow muff with custom piping.

I lost 5>6 rwhp from taking the cutout out and adding Magnaflow cats.
Not bad for one of the only fully street legal 10.6 sec car on nitrous, 11.13 NA in the area I'm at.

My setup puts down 401 and 387 untuned. I think as far as small cams stealthy cams go this one is hard to beat. Torque is really unreal, and it drives like stock....although the 01 Z06 had a 116 LSA stock.

On another note these cars with tuning handle bigger cams just fine. I had a 232/230 cam in my WS6 on a 114 and it drove around just fine...it was begging for gears. It was a hard choice between the Stealth and the F13 from Futrual.
