Default Transmission stick

Ok, I am questioning wether or not I have a short stick on my ride already.
Is the stock shifter a straight piece of pipe? Because mine has a curve near the top of the shifter stick.

I am questioning this because I have seen a pic of a stock shifter, and its way higher than mine.

Best way to tell if it's the stock stick, is the big hunk of rubber at the bottom of the stick. (where it mounts to the shifter)
It's a cylinder, filled with rubber that the stock stick goes into
Easy way for us is if you take a pic of what you have, and post it
