Best is relative. Do you want a street only car/street + track/track only. Because if you want you can go huge, make great power, but it would be hell to daily drive. So what type of power are you wanting to make/what is the application its going to be use for. Also read the stickies, I dont think that a heads/cam package is necissarily a mod you should do first. Get some of the supporting mods like headers etc. Sure those mods can be done first, but should they...maybe not.

Get the ls6 intake. Then get an f13 and some patriot ls6 heads. Spec stage 3 clutch.
Dyno tune....enjoy.
I wouldnt do any gears with the 10 bolt....its a waste of time.....save some money and get a 12 bolt or 9 inch.
Might not be the very best...but a very good street/strip combo and you cant beat the price.
You also need to get some sfcs

My advice...trot on over to the internal engine section and read/search for a couple days, maybe a week.

F13 Cam

I personaly would take that cam over ls6 cam. But there are other cams id take over the F13. The F13 will be a rough idle for sure, and will be totally daily drivable with a tune.

When properly tuned the F13 is compeletely streetable. There is a thread about it right now in the Internal Section. I'd say go with the F13 or some 23x cam and complimentary heads for a very streetable combination.

Please use the search feature and READ alot. Don't listen to what everyone else suggests, only YOU know what you want for your car. Our idea on this site is to help educate the members to make some choices on their own, not just buy things at the suggestion of others.

Learn what cam specs do in terms of drivability, performance, valvetrain wear, etc... and you will be able to spec out your own cam in no time.

Everybody has their own opinions of what would be the perfect cam, heads, gears, etc. Honestly you owe it to yourself to read up on cam profiles. If you plan on doing heads also you need to research heads also. Certain Heads work very well with certain cams to produce a prefeered result. However if you do not do your homework you could end up with a setup that isn't taking advantage of each parts benefits = (Turd). I would suggest JRP's Cam guide sticky located in the internal section. Jaberwaki also has a good general write up on what all is needed to make Fbodies fast. Good luck!
