Ok.. by looking and searching this is what I have learned so far..
I will be running through a 3" catback with a magnaflow, no cutout, no cats, and a set of L/T's.. I have read that if you have a more "restictive" exhaust side then get a split cam.. correct?? or is my exhaust good enough to not worry about it..??
I want the really nice choppy idle but not an extremely large cam, so I should go for a 112 seperation or less.. right??
I am going to buy a stall to put in with the cam, probably looking at a 3200 with a 2.2'ish STR.. Any cam suggestions for that type of stall.. I have read tons about the TR234.. I think thats the name of it anyway, seems to be a great cam, but is it too much for my application?? I have 2:73 gears also.. I wouldnt have the money for a rearend for quite some time, so I am keeping the gears as they are the strongest of the 10 bolts.. (from what ive read)
So is there anyway to turn peoples heads while the car idles, real choppy, without going to a "wild" cam?? If such a cam exists please let me know about it so that I can research that paticular cam..
Everyone has their own perception of "wild" but hopefully you guys understand ruffly where I wanna be..
Thanks

the more split, the more lope
112 and under (110,109) the more lope
114 and higher (115,116) less lope
you will notice at idle an even duration cam on a 114 LSA, a split duration on a 112 you will notice more

Oh, I may be overstepping my boundaries here with expectations but who knows.. maybe I can acually have what I want.. I have also been reading with larger cams to replace the valve springs every 20ish thousand miles.. I will upgrade to good springs when I swap, but I would rather stick with something that doest require "regular" internal engine work.. As for the sall.. I have no problem bumping up to a 3500 .. just want to keep the STR at about 2.2 since 99% of the time it will be on street tires...
