Default LS1 vs. LS6

What are the differences between the LS1 and LS6 heads? I know the valves are lighter, and the intake is slightly enlarged from a 2.0 to a 2.02 but what is the difference in the ACTUAL CASTING. Also, is there a difference in the LS1 castings between themselves, 4.8 vs 5.3 vs 6.0 head casting? Answers to these questions would greatly help me. Thanx

The z06 and the 6.0 heads have the same intake and exhaust ports and runners. And they flow MUCH better then all the other stock heads. I think the valves are the same in them all as far as size but i may be wrong. The 5.3 heads and the z06 heads have smaller CC chambers. Teh ls1 is begger and the 6.0 is biggest. GL man

LS6 heads also have titanium intake valves, and sodium filled exhaust valves. lighter valvetrain = faster revs.

Now is the 5.7 considered a LS1 or LS6?
