Default 1998 4l60e vs 1999-2002 4l60e
does anyone know if there are any differences in the 98 fbody 4l60e vs. the fbody 99 and newer 4l60e? I have heard that the controlers inside the trans are different and some wires need to be switched around or something. any help would be awesome

Some of the internal "hard part" components where updated in 2002. Other than that, it's basically the same transmission '98-'02.
