Default Mount Stripped

I have been informed by the folks that replaced my rear end that I have a transmission mount stripped. I have a 2000 Firebird Formula WS6 manual 6 speed.... when I shift into 1st or second and let off the clutch too much it bangs.. which confirms this to me.. what do I have to do and what price range am I looking at the get this fixed?

What would a shop charge?

if you have a jack and a 18mm socket(I think, may be 19) you can do this yourself. Just buy a $20 prothane mount and switch it with the old one. so you dont strip it again look up the torque spec. I think its around 40 ft/lbs
