why would the stock clutch break
If I am using a WOT switch and I'm not pressing the gas between shifts, why should the stock clutch break with a 125 shot? It seems as if there shouldn't be extra HP to deal with because of the WOT switch.

what doyou mean by "break"? If it breaks the ring around the springs I've done that a couple of times. Are you powershifting? if so you gotta think your spinging the motor up to close to 6200 and then applying all that power to a small disk instantly. I know they use them in the zo6 at 405hp but I dont think they rate them for a instant load, I think they rate them at what they should be able to hold in high gear at wot after its already engaged. your applying all that power at once and I think that ring is the weak link.
