Default TH400 shift delay? whats up with that?

my T400 trans has a r.m.v.b. and the 1-2 shift is delayed at W.O.T. i have a pro-ratchet shfiter. i click it back, and it pops back to it's normal position and then it shifts a noticably amount of time later! what could that be? i mean, the delay is around 300 rpm from the time the shifter comes back to it's rest position to when the trans actually shifts.

anyone know what the heck that is?

when i'm driving normal it's quick... and the 2-3 shift is always where it should be.

Default oil

there is an oil pressure tap on the drivers side of your th400. the pressure should be between 155-180lbs. you will have to go to an tranny shop to have them do the work unless you have a 300lbs. guage.
