Spray & 3600 stall & 3.73's? Please Help
Would I have to shift into OD before the traps if I put in my 3.73's and added spray? Should I just sell the gears *still new in box* and just leave the 3.23's in the rear if I go with the spray? I was going to get the gears put in this coming monday but got to ride in a sprayed car today and was like . If I do both is there anyway to know about what rpm I would be turning at the line? Im thinking if I go with the juice i'd get a wet kit and stay around a 100 shot if that helps.

It would also depend on what size tire you are going to run. I run a 28" tall tire with 4.10's, 3600 stall and a 100 shot and I cross the line at about 6200. I have yet to try the 150 shot.

Lets say the 100 shot adds 10mph to your trap speed, so you would be trapping around 118mph. With a 26" tire and 3.73 gears you should trap about 5700 rpm, assuming you have a m6. If you have an a4 you should allow for about a 5-10% slippage.

I spray 150, with a 3600 stall, lgx3 Cam, stock heads and stock rear end, 3.23. I personally wouldn't go over a 3.42 gear if you are going to spray 150. And believe me, you will spray 150 eventually. It is to tempting

No don't use the 3.73's. You'll go faster on the bottle with the 3.23 gears.
