Default Clutch Match Balancing

I just purchased a Spec V clutch assembly and a new billet steel flywheel. I have called just about every machine shop in the phone book and even called a clutch remanufacter in the tri state area. NOBODY can match balance my clutch assembly with the flywheel.

Am I missing something here? You are to have the clutch assembly and flywheel assembled and put onto a balancer and checked. Everybody keeps on telling me that they can balance just the flywheel and pressure plate seperatly. I thought they were supposed to be balanced as a unit! Anybody?

...they need the flywheel to fix the pressure plate... how would you spin it otherwise?
Usually you first balance the flywheel alone, then bolt the PP on it and add/remove weight from the PP.
