Question Currie

How come no one considers Currie rear ends: http://www.currieenterprises.com

They're not sponsors here?
I'm looking at a Strange 12-bolt or a 9", but just curious.

This looks interesting if you're looking for a 12-bolt without a spool:

If you haven't already seen this, another article comparing 12-bolts to 9" rear ends:

Its funny I just called them yesterday about a 9". They quoted me 2700 bucks with drum brakes and a spool. A locker and better brakes would have been over 3 grand. I was like, thanks

Chris at Currie told me via phone that they dont have any ABS/TCS option for 4th gen f-body. However, their website indicated otherwise. I'm not going to put more time into figuring out if the website or saleman is correct.

Thanks, I get it. Too expensive, plus it sounds like they don't have their s*** together. I figured there had to be reasons, plus not even a sponsor. Forget it!

Only ABS/TCS that anybody offers if for 4 channel cars. You have to pay out the nose for a 3 channel setup from a 3rd party source. I am just deleting all my ABS and adding a line lock.I like to RR/Autox and most of the more experenced guys can the abs stuff any way.

I bought a Moser BP9HP2 package form a vendor on here ($914),got a junkyard big bearing 3rd member(free),paid $58 for 3.55 gears from feabay and pickup new bearings and seals (Free) and bought a new True-trac from feabay ($361) Total $1333 I am working on a getting another big bearing 3rd member with 3.70 gears and dropping a full spool in it.

No point in paying $$$$ for a 9 inch or 12 bolt.
