March '02 Romania with JCSE (Joint communications support element) then into Erbil (northern Iraq) in April. Then from Erbil to Baghdad a month later. Didn't get home 'till end of Oct, was sure glad to see running water. Unlucky bastards that relieved us had to move all our crap to Mosul. Got 2 ARCOM's out of it though.

-Especially today, I wouldn't mind at all. We got that place so built up, it's easy. When I went, we were shitting in a hole, and taking baby wipe showers.

Intel Chief - 3rd Amphib Assault BN (+), 1st Marine Division

Highlights (never really had a permenant home/camp):
-Lead Marine Corps Elements supporting 2/5 at extreme southern oil fields
-First strikes into Al Basrah (supporting the Brits)
-Fight for An Nas
-Secondary wave at Al Rasheed Air Base
-Assisted Delta's and CIA CounterIntel units with info for POW rescue
Coolest thing I got to do...was help keep Geraldo Riviera detained after he gave away critical information.

I salute you guys
