Default turbo options when building a rear mount system

Dont know diddly about turbos But i was wondering upon building your own rear mount systems what are some of the turbos I could go with. I need model numbers I guess? Would this one work????

SUPER 13B TURBO

MONSTER STONE " T70 "

FOR A GREAT POWER BOOST
WET FLOATING BEARINGS

WET FLOATING BALL BEARINGS

SHAFT & WHEEL TRIM 64.5mm

COMPRESSOR WHEEL SUPER 70 60.5mm

( similar to Garrett T61 for comparison purposes )

TURBINE HOUSING A/R .84

COMPRESSOR HOUSING A/R RATIO .70

USE HKS OR GREDDY WASTEGATE

CAPABLE OF 650 HP

T-3 turbine flange too small, no need for split inlet, it's used on four bangers with large spaces between exhaust pulses. 60.5mm compressor wheel to small. compressor wheel should be larger than turbine. And If I remember right this is the S.S. auto chrome turbo. If you use it for mock up its great other than that go mater power t-70 with the .84 a/r. The master power has a 69.5 mm compressor wheel p-trim turbine should be about $650-750

before you even think about doing your own rear mount (or any type of) turbo system, RESEARCH. Read as much as you can about turbo systems, how they work, how to match a turbo to your system, etc. I can almost guarantee if you don't, one of maybe three things will happen: 1. you won't ever finish this project because it will get too frustrating. 2. you will finish it, with all the wrong parts and grenade your motor. 3. You will finish it and be disappointed when all your mismatched parts give you a net gain of 50hp

there is a turbo FAQ at the top of this forum, start there. Look around on the internet, pick up "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell, and generally do whatever you can to get info about this. Also check out www.turbomustangs.com for some good DIY turbo stuff

LOL....give it to one of your enemies for Christmas..... ...haha

I have one here btw.....the internals are horrible. Clearences are poop. Once they are rebuilt though they are decent units though. Its the tolerances and parts used internally that suck. Plus the balancing job is crap as well. I will stick it on our balancer and see how far off the wheels are.

For the price range and peformance, the MP-T70 is the best bang for the bucks by far. We use them alot for our rear mount customers.
