Just wondering how you guys cut out the intake holes on your ram air hoods? I was looking at the 4" VFN hood and was just wondering how you guys did it?

There was a kit sold, from a guy named Brian Green. It was a Ram Air modification, which replaced the baffles inside your hood with channels and seals for a straight-thru flow from the hood. For whatever reason, it's not being made anymore. I wouldn't suggest just cutting out the stock baffling, which is there to prevent water from hitting the air filter. If you just cut it out without adding any ducting or seals, most of the air will spread around before it hits the air filter. The kit included plugs, gaskets, and ducting to channel the air from the hood directly into the filter. Check out this link. You may be able to buy some parts and make your own system.
