Thunder Racing 230/224?
I just bought this car recently and it had a TR 230/224 111 cam in it. I been reading about cams and so on trying to learn more through searching and just had some questions. What kind of cam is this is it a n/a, fi, nitrous or what kind of cam. From what I was reading it is a n/a cam?
The car I bought has a forged 346 and I been reading about the cam some and I was thinking of spraying a 250+ wet shot through it. Will it be dangerous with this cam? What will happen? Just trying to see what I need to do...

It's Thunder's good ol' TR230. Great mid and upper rpm cam (at the expense of some low end). Makes about 15rwhp over the benchmark TR224. The 111 lsa tightens up the powerband. It's not an fi cam by any means. Relatively low lift for today's standards. It's an olide but a goodie (used to be considered a big cam 3-4 years ago).
Reverse split duration cams like the TR230 do well with a good exhaust setup. Spraying 250+ on a reverse split won't yield the results that a traditional split cam will give ya (like a 231/237 for example).
