Default Venting To Atmosphere Cons

On A Procharged Trans Am Ls1 With A D1 Maf Car What Are The Cons Of Venting The Blow Off To The Atmosphere?

Well, if the vent is after the MAF, then it won't be reading right because you'll be dumping air that is supposed to be going into the motor.

its before it goes through the maf would it be ok to vent to atmosphere now it dumps back into the intake hat on the blower

I am thinking of dumping mine to atomosphere as well. For heat reasons, no point in
recurculating that hot air back into the system. Run a bit hot on summer days. As for a con, I would think it would be the noise, was going to in stall a small filter over the discharge end.
