Default Any suggestions on making car more consistant?

I posted a simular question in the PCM section. But wondering if there are any suggestions besides the pcm to build a better bracket race car.
I bracket race at my track. I am tring to find ways to make the car more consistant at the track.
Is there a way to make the car less sensitive to weather changes?
I don't care about speed unless it is consistant.
the car runs 7.3-7.6 on 1/8mile track depending on the weather.
1998 Z28
have stock a4 with 3500 stall TCI.
MS3 cam, 5.3 PRC stage 2.5 heads, headers, bullets, MT ET Streets. and some little things, few weight reductions, QA1's
I have no problems with traction.
No Cats or AIR pump or EGR
It is usually decently consistant but theres always room for improvement.
any suggestions would be appriciated thanks

I would recommend a new BMR suspension. Your suspension may not be "acting" the same every time you launch, in essence, making your times inconsistant. I have the same prob., many people say it is the suspension. Plus if you get the BMR adjustable, (best kind), you can tweak it.

so your suspension can effect consistacy.
is this because of the flex may differ in each run?
would a roll cage help also?
I forgot to metion I do have a moser 12" with spool and that eliminated any traction problems I had.

Yes, you are exactly right. The stock suspension I believe plays a part different every time you launch. If you get an adjustable suspension, it is better, lighter, and you can tweak it until you get good consistant launches every time! A roll cage may help too, not real sure about this. I would get a weld-in one though, so it has no chance of trying to twist your chassis. You would be surprized at how the smallest thing can affect you getting out of the hole.
