LMII Muffler to Borla XR1 has anyone done it?

LMII Muffler to Borla XR1 has anyone done it? If so, please comment on the results. I have a LMII right now and consider it to be a good bit too boomy under load... steady state acceleration rolling into the throttle.
I'd like to know first hand if the XR1's are quieter. Many people comment that they are but I think there is a lot of confusion drawing comparisons to the LMI resonator.
My understanding is that the LMII muffler and XR1 should be very similar... so I'd rather not waste the $120 or whatever trying out a XR1 if someone else knows the dill.

Why don't you post in your regional forum and see if
you can hook up with someone with a "Borlamouth"?
I'm not ragging SLP, but I doubt the LMII muffler
sounds as good as an XR-1. But, I haven't personally
heard the LMII.
