Biggest cam on stock heads?
Hey guys, whats the biggest cam i can safely get away with on stock heads, 2002 ws.6, current mods, flp long tubes, yank ss3600 stall, 3.73 gears,
currently i have 224/224 588/588 112, im looking to go to a bigger cam. i was looking at the f13 on a 114, but still hoping to have some chop, any suggestions? thanks.

T-Rex seems to be the biggest production cam, but I have seen slightly larger custom grinds for stock heads without flycutting. I am not sure if G5X4 will fit stock heads or not. Increasing LSA will help idle and drivability slightly, but when you are in the 24Xs you should not be looking at drivability, you should be thinking where do I want my power band to be. If you want drivability go with something in the 22Xs generally, otherwise it is your own preferrence of what drivability is to you. For me, as long as it does not die and it starts up I could care less about the rest. It is all in the tune from there.
