Default LS6 & 225cc or Carb & 205cc

It seems to be general opinion that most aftermarket intakes eg FAST dont offer much benefits to a blown engine.

A lot of the big power racers are using Carb intakes and big ported heads, as low end doesnt matter to them.

If you wanted best of both worlds, which of the above would give a wider spread of power/torque, whilst offering good gains ?

LS6 intake and a pair of 225cc heads, or a carb intake, and a pair of 205cc heads ??

Or is it daft to put that sort of combination together ?

I would go with the FAST 90mm intake, and a Nick Williams 90mm throttle body, along with the 225cc heads. Bob

I dont think Ive seen any reports where a FAST etc has offered any benefits on a FI application.
Hard to justify spending that much money, for no gains ??

Carb intakes appear to be pretty good value by comparison.
