Default Turbo Cam for STS

Have any of you with STS's played around with a cam for your set up yet? I got a GT-70 going in but I still need a cam for it. Any input would be helpfull.
Thanks all.

the gt-7 is 208/230 .556 .546 on a 121
We installed this cam for Longrange and as you can tell by his torque numbers, it works well. Even though it has a long exhaust duration, with the 121, it has a bone stock idle.

I doubt that cam will pass smog in Ca.
Great numbers by the way.

An awful lot of people say the stock Z06 cam makes a good inexpensive FI cam. You might look into that, especially with the emissions requirements. GL

why so much exhaust duration?

Why is it on a big LSA #

How many degs od advance are burned in ?

Is this cam for a supercharged LS1
I am looking for a boost cam for my 01 SS with a Novi.

I want the cam to idel nice and have great street maners.

that cam will idle great with an LSA like that, but i bet it pulls hard up top.my GT2-3 pulls rather hard up top and screams above 6000.Usually on a turbo car people go with single pattern or reverse split cams but many are having good luck with the Z06 cam and LPE cams as well. For a supercharger many go with a regular split like a but again many have luck with the LPE cams.I think its because the regular split works well with superchargers but the LSA works well with turbos, thats why LPE cams are used for both.JMO

i had a 214-224 560/570 camp cam on a 115 + 3degs. blower cam, (special grind)
wish i would have kept it now. I was told this cam would idel nice and be a good blower-street cam,
So Now i need another blower cam, since i just bought a novi 2000.
Was thinking about getting a custome grind with the 215-230 duration like the LPE cam but at around 550-580 lift and on a 115-116 LSA with 3-4 degs advanced.
I still dont know why they would put it on that high of a LSA
And why dose LPE have so much lift on that one cam . its like 640 lift?

I do have a set of new texas speed duel valve springs rated to .650 lift , but isnt this pushing them?
