Default Does a 4l60e have a shifter linkage adjustment???

My shifter dosent go all the way into 1st gear... actually it dosent click into 1st.... So I figure the cable needs adjustment... I just had a new 4l60e installed...and im guessing the cable adjustment was over looked....

not really.. it pretty much just bolts in place and afaik there is no place to adjust anything.

I would check to see if everything was tightened down like the bolt that holds the cable to the lever and the cable to the trans pan. There may be a slight amount of movement available on the trans pan bracket.

Down by the trans is a slider that you can unlock &
adjust to snug. What the proper method is, I couldn't
say.
