Will this make my car quieter?? I have a wide open Borla right now with slp longtubes and off road y-pipes (aftermarket cam too, pretty big one). The car is simply too loud, and I really have to quiet it down. If I put in the restrictor plate that came with the Borla, will it quiet down, or will that not even matter because I have the offroad pipe instead of the cats? Someone please let me know because I finally found the restrictor plates and Im wondering if I should install one of them

2 Loud? check the sig, same as you except for Hookers, its loud at startup, but just normal easy drivin, its barely louder than b4 the headers, no cats here and the borla is wide open as well. gettin on it is a different story, I really like it on the hiway to, just enough tone to let me know she's runnin

i dont know if it makes a difference, but I have an all bolt on car with heads and a huge cam with a high stall (the rpms are always pretty high, making it even louder). The car is so loud that I always getting pulled over now, and its a pain. Even at idle, its LOUD. I will try to put the plate in and see if it makes a difference, but Im just hoping that putting the most restrictive one in wont hurt my performance too much (I currently have about 400rwhp n/a). Did anyone go from a similar setup and have any numbers on performance afterwards compared to before?
