Default ATTN Vette guys........need help picking plug wires!!!

I melted one of my 8.5 MSD plug wires and I obviously need to replace them now. I don't want to spend an assload of money but I would like to get the best I can.

What do you guys recommend? And wheres a good vendor to get them from?

The wire moved onto the header and it cracked and melted......... I'm gonna put some cool socks on them this time. When I put the headers in I didn't realize that the wires could be bent, so next time I'll bend them out of the way of the header.

So how much are the Taylors your talking about and do they bend like the MSD's?

What's wrong with stockers??
These wires are short. Not too much to be gained with aftermarket wires.

I saw LG made some pretty stout claims for their plug wires for our Vettes. I'm not a believer but if you need some try em out for us

I've had no problems with my stockers and the headers so far.

I haven't had any issues with my Taylor Spiro Pro's (8.5mm) next to my coated SLP LT's. I think the key is pure silicone wires & boots (rated to 600*?)...
