Search?
just wondering why don't people use the search function? or just read the STICKIES.
same questions everyday.
as a mustang-guy, i've noticed that this board's FAQs are so much more organized compared to the Mustang boards and likewise for the user websites with step-by-step install instructions.

oh, and skunk50, we here at ls1tech put alot of time into our stickies and FAQ's. which is why it irks me when they go unused.

I don't know why either. I just answerd a few posts (havn't really been around for awhile, but school is out for a few weeks now) and they are the same old questions search and stickeis answer every time.
What oil?
What lift can comp 918's hold?
What spark plugs?
What cam? (not giving ANY details)
What cam? (minor details, no pesonal prefs, goals, etc listed)
What length pushrods?
Are mids as good as LT's?
What headers are best?
What exhaust sounds the best?
What mods should I get first?
How does a stall(torque converter) work? Does a 4k stall rev to 4k every time you take off?
What gears did my car come with?
etc etc etc

Some times, I dislike the search. If I am going to post a thread about a big topic, say, "Help me select a 150 Dry shot Kit" Im gonna search and read stickys. But as far as minor ****, like what gear I will trap in, I don't ten to search.

I have used the stickeys at the top of most pages, and it has anwsered a lot of my questions. Take the stickesy down for a week, and see how many more usless posts would pop up. some people do use it though, still not as many that should

also when using SEARCH, you don't have to wait for replys.....and more importantly, you're getting a lot of info from FULL threads that may have been discussed for MONTHS on your subject.
you can weed out the bad info from people who might be giving you wrong info (that may **** up your car).... since there may be valid opposing points from other members.
but when you post some rehashed question that you're clueless about....you might be too anxious with what you should do and take some bad advice.....just because that guy answered your post first!
