ET Performance heads, anyone using em?
Been doing some research and ET P heads keep coming up. I understand that when using these heads you gain .150" free drop over a standard LS1 head. This means G5X3 easy and without flycutting wouldn't it!? I have tried to do a search but the search is down. Whats the story with these heads?

free drop
depending on the chamber volume, it will effect the actual free drop. with a small chamber (64) cc, it has about .080- .100 more free drop than a stock style head. And yes there is a lot of people using them right now.

With a stock 346 bottom end, how big a cam can be installed using ET heads without flycutting?
What CC head should one look into if he plans on keeping a stock 346 and adding a big cam?

The wait is/was for the valves they come from venazula and that's the hold up from what i've herd i'm getting the 225's with a g5x3 no flycutting but u will need a 8" pushrod and that combo should make in the 480-490 with the right tune mods there are small cam c6 at 500 rwhpthe power comes from the 11degrees angle compared to 15 on a ls1 that's why they make power just like the ls7 that's 12 I think -Vern
