Default Whats the most compact cats to run a 3" pipe through?

I am about to start building my exhaust and with long tubes there is very little room to simulate a cat on the drivers side. What is everyone using that can be found easy and inexpensive?

There will be a pipe strait through. I'm looking to pass a visual inspection.

Random Tech makes some really stubby metallics
but if they look -too- small the inspector may need
convincing.

I'm looking for some small trashed ones myself for
similar reasons.

Given that you intend to run pipe through them,
you could probably use some stock ones, just make
the hole bigger when you hack off the stock piping
and run a bead around it.
