swapping exaust from TA(hooker) too SS(LM)???

Default swapping exaust from TA(hooker) too SS(LM)???

my neihbor(meaning one out of about 30)hate's my exaust blah,blah......

well a buddy offered to swap exaust with me.he has a 98 trans am with mac mid's and hooker catback.i have a 99 SS with mac mid's and a slp loudmouth.

im thinking everything should swap perfect.a friend says we might run into issue's.

what will be the best way too swap?face both rearend's togather and jack both of them up?i think it will be a good saturday project for next weekend.

The swap shouldn't be a problem at all. If both exhausts are clamped and not welded, the only thing you'll really need to remove is the over the axle pipe and back. He may have cut his i-pipe because of the mac mids and the new y-pipe he had to use, but I don't expect there is much difference in the i-pipe designs of both systems.

Shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes once the cars are up in the air. There may need to be some fine adjustments to make, like tailpipe position, but that's it.

i did.i dont like the cops knocking on my door everytime i crank my car.i figured i can tell the cops nexttime i did my part im swapped my exaust instead of them getting a domestic disturbunce call.

i think im going to try to do the swap monday being im off work for christmas.

I just installed Flowtech LT's and ORY on my car thursday with the LM. I get a call from my landlord this mourning Christmas eve at that saying we have had complaints. The headers have been on 3 days Theres this old f***** that lives across the street who is the neighborhood rat. So I guess I'll be spending my christmas money on a Hooker catback as well. I did hammer on it leaving my driveway today on the way to work in front of that old dudes house. Just to let him know what's up The swap shouldn't be a problem though.
