i have a th400 behind my 99 ls1 with just headers, 4:10s & 150 shot nos....wich t/a set up is better? im looking to buy the croosmember that connects to the tranny and the t/a on the side too with a drive shaft loop from bmr....??? or buy the t/a that connects behind the trany on the actual body with the drive shaft loop? or are they just the same as long as i buy a performance t/a?

I recommend that you stay away from any transmission mounted torque arms. The BMR Tracpak is a good torque arm, although welding is required. The Spohn 405 torque arm bolts on, and can be had with the driveshaft safety loop installed. Either one works very well. BMR also makes an Xtreme torque arm, that we have also used, which is extra strong for the hardest hitting drag cars. Bob
