Default Exhaust banging

1998 TA
Thought it was the transmission mount, got it replaced, the noise didn't stop.
After about a month I finally hung my head down and looked under the car while I tourqued the engine, and saw the exhaust hitting the bottom of the car. It makes a loud thumping every time I get on the gas a little. Considered it being an engine mount, but the pipe is only about 3/4" away from the floorboard, the previous owner installed it.
Anything I can maybe wrap it with in that spot, so it stop banging?

any ideas welcome
Thanks
JD

Prothane motor mount from Thunder Racing. Sucks to install, but it WILL stop banging. No drawbacks, except the install.

what you need is the poly motor mount, thats the problem

you wont believe how much it will tighten up the entire ride of your car by keeping that motor from shaking around so much

The bumpstop only works if you have a 3 inch y pipe. That just deadens the sound. The poly motor mount will eliminate it from occurring. Just my 2 cents.
